Join fellow Christian Scientists and Cindy and Dave Martin for an afternoon of exploring what tree and plant metaphors in the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s writings can teach us about how we can contribute to healing in our communities, our own lives, and the world.  A beautiful PowerPoint Nature Slide program exploring "Tree and Plant Metaphors in the Bible and Spiritual Sustainability," will be presented by Bible speakers, environmental planners, and naturalists David and Cindy Martin.  Learning to read the universe and its “hieroglyphics of Love” expressed in nature will be explored together.  Topics examined will include :
  • The Oneness of God, man, and His creation
  • Revelation’s imagery of indestructible nature
  • Healing and restoration in life, church, and the environment
  • Healing physical challenges
Plant and tree metaphors will be discussed from Genesis, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Psalms, the Gospels, and Revelation and what they have to teach us.  The program will also include inspirational music and examples of practical applications including finding positive solutions to environmental or physical challenges through prayer.   These programs are not politically oriented but explore prayer and inspiration leading to solutions and blessing our world.
