Madelon Maupin, Cindy and Dave Martin, and a host of other friendly staff, program leaders, and CS attendees from across the nation met together to explore the substance and meaning of the Biblical Nature Metaphors of Light, Water, Rock, Plants, and Fire during this inspiring four day program. There were comfortable accommodations in Cedar Lodge at Calvin Crest Conference Center outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park in California. Located at 5000' elevation on a 300 acre private in-holding surrounded by the Sierra National Forest, this site is adjacent to Nelder Giant Sequoia Grove. Early June affords us the beauty of the spring run-off in waterfalls and rushing creeks along with the gorgeous scenery and weather of the central Sierras.
